Observation is a crucial part in
teaching and learning too. It presents opportunities that help us figure out
what a real teacher life looks like. It helps us develop and establish
strategies and techniques that will aid our learning processes as noble
teachers. This is as well could be affiliated to importance of observing
children in which you really start to realize that you are applying what you
have learned as raw material and you feel the pleasure of being with them. When
I observe children playing this helps me discover their interest. when I
observe children I can assess their developmental stages and level. When
engaging in conversations and tasks with them I can figure out their strengths
and weaknesses which indeed enlighten up my way in planning lessons, designing
activities and modifying my methodologies.
Even more, observations are needed in
teaching and they are very essential and important at every stage of the
teaching career because the teaching and education field is in continues
progress and change so teachers need to keep in touch with every change and
development so they catch up every single detail that might come in handy in
their effortful noble career.
By highlighting and capitalizing on the importance of observations
in the teaching career, we are subsequently capitalizing on the importance of
utilizing case studies in teaching since it helps us in identifying the context
of the problem that we are facing then it contributes in suggesting solutions
that would help in solving it. Additionally, case studies provide us with key
facts that we should be considering when dealing with the problem in addition
to some alternatives that would be available to us while making decisions.
